Welcome to the new blog.
This blog is about altars and their place in our lives. i got the idea after I did a post about my Samhain Altar over on my other blog, a wonderful reader Wendy. made the suggestion that this would be a great idea for a blog, I thought so too, but was so busy that I kind of sat on the idea for a while before creating the page then leaving it blank.
So that's how On Altar'd Space was born. The idea is to create a blog dediccated to altars, whether it's the images that make up a post or some crafts, ideas of what can go on your altar, and even book reviews about books about altars. It's all going to be here. And guess what?? You can make suggestions about what you would like to see or even send in your images of your altar (no really PLEASE send in your images). You can even write a quick explanation of what's on your altar, and even the many varied altars there are.
Of course, keep it sane, safe, and sexy, and please exercise common courtesy and discretion when sending in images as well as when commenting on others images. It may not be how you set it up, but that's ok, altar set-ups are as personal as one's path and it's personal.
